The Best Bread Pudding

 

Bread pudding

 

Ingredients:

 

2 cups of milk

2 tbsp of butter (1/4 stick)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/3 cup of sugar (more or less to taste)

Pinch of salt

1/2 loaf of broche or white bread (cut to 2 inch cubes)

3 eggs beaten

 

 

Action:

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit

 

In a sauce pan over low heat, warm milk, butter, vanilla, sugar and salt

 

Butter a 4 to 6 cup baking dish and fill with bread

 

Add eggs to cooled milk mixture, pour over bread

 

Bake 35 to 45 minutes or until custard is set but still wobbly and edges have browned
