Sugar Free Apple Bread

 

Ingredients:

 

4 Cups of cored and diced apples

2 Large eggs

1 Cup of unsweetened applesauce

1/2 Cup of honey or maple syrup

2 Tbsp oil

1 Tsp pure vanilla extract

2 Tsp cinnamon

1/2 Tsp nutmeg

2 Tsp baking powder

1 Tsp baking soda

1/2 Tsp salt

2 1/4 cups of whole wheat flower

 

Action:

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

 

Spray a 9 x 5 loaf pan with cooking spray and set aside

 

In a large bowl, whisk the eggs and then add applesauce, oil, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, baking soda, salt. Continue to whisk until well mixed

 

Add flour and gently stir until combined. Try not to over mix.

 

Fold apples into the batter

 

Pour batter into your prepared loaf pan

 

Bake for 60 – 70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean

 

Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minues before transferring to a wire rack
